Campaign News Upate My campaign has hired a very experienced, well connected and successful campaign manager. A short bio follows:
-------
Barbara Smith Warner is a political consultant whose focus is grassroots organizing, message development and training. She has worked extensively with labor, including the nation AFL-CIO, and the progressive community throughout the country for almost 20 years. In Oregon, she has run the Oregon House Democratic campaign committee, managed Dan Gardner's first labor commissioner campaign, and served as political director for both Governor Kulongoski's and Senator Wyden's re-election campaigns. Other recent clients include the Ballot Freedom Project, No on Measure 45, Blumenauer for Congress and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation/GMMB. She is a graduate of Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, and lives in Portland with her husband and two children.
-------
My entire team is excited to have Barbara on board. Her skills and experience with grassroots, progressive campaigns is a real boost to my already strong base of activist supporters. She's already hard at work building on the incredible momentum we have from collecting 1,700 qualifying contributions in 10 days.
